Our Aim...

Our aim is simply to make your life as easy as possible, to take away the added work that arranging and testing of hoists for a tour or event brings, so it can be offset to us.
We will make the equipment perform and look like new (better in some cases), create all the certs and send them on their way.

We pride ourselves on the certification process of the hoists, so as the demand for legal documentation increases, The Hoistpital will provide you with an up to date record for the Inspection and Testing of your hoisting equipment.
The certifying process will include the dating and logging of all vital information, and if applicable the detailing of its current Machinery and Electrical Directives and European conformity.
Ever more increasingly, production and the governing parties are requesting a detailed account of all factors for rigging up a show. This has mainly stemmed from unnecessary incidents that have occurred during the construction of events in Europe in years past.
As a result, the authorities may now require a detailed account of all equipment, especially the equipment that demonstrates high risk by lifting heavy loads.
With the Certificate we provide there should be no reason for anybody to require any more information on site.
All Certificates will be processed at the earliest time possible, so you have them to hand when you need them.
The Inspection record will also be submitted to you alongside the Certificate.
If it is agreed that you would like an annual routine schedule of works, we can create an archive for your entire stock. The trace-ability and legal documenting of each hoist can then be accessed easily and efficiently in accordance with LOLER and HSE requirements.

Our Last word...

With much combined experience in the events industry, we understand how it works. We know that a show might fall in your lap and you need gear turning around quickly, or you might want to keep some back because you have a big show going out in a month or two. Whatever it is, we can accommodate you and even consult on the best equipment to use and the best way to use it.
We come from Rigging ,Abseiling, Staging, Mechanics, Events, Festivals, Touring, Lighting, Electro mechanical, TV, Film & Rock'n'Roll stock. We fix hoists and might customize a bike or two if we get the time. The kettle is mostly on....and you are more than welcome to join us! 

We are here solely because we want safe shows and tours in the UK and around the world, and more importantly, the safety of the people putting up the shows!
Experience would suggest much more could be done to provide safe equipment in the industry, and that's what we are here to do.
